March Salmon River Trip
Steelhead fishing. I looked up water levels online before my trip and everything looked fine. Got to my fav hotel, to hear "Nick, didnt think you would come this weekend." They let the water go on Friday and said in the local papers that the fishing would be junk for the weekend.
ALWAYS CHECK THE LOCAL PAPERS!!!! Lesson learned!
If you have never been to Salmon River, in Pulaski, NY you must! In the fall its home of some of the best Salmon fishing in the world. There is also amazing Steelhead fishing in the winter and spring. Just check the water levels before you go!
