Fishing Rods
Diawas, Eagle Claws (crappie), Cabela's, a Pinnacle UL (meh) several old Ugly Sticks still going strong, a couple of Pinnacle rods, an ancient 6.5' Phillipson I rarely use and a Cherry wood for a standby rod on trips.
Fishing Reels
Many Abu Garcias, Diawas & Shimanos, 2 Pinnacles (meh, short lived baitcaster, both back-reel which is a huge pain in the as5) some old Zebco ultra lights (great!), an old Ryobi (20 years old, UL baitcaster, weird, no?) , 2 Dam Quicks (i in box from 1960's?), and I am testing a Sierra Reel Tioga series.
Fishing Techniques
70% of the time I have a baitcaster in my hand.

Casting shore for bass, varying the depths from wake baits to those that tear up the bottom.

Slow rolling spinnerbaits for bass in deeper water.

Throwing crank baits under any conditions.

Plastics and SwimBaits (Reaction Innovation skinny Dippers are FANTASIC, as are the Mr. Twister swimbaits/minnows)

Spring and fall trolling trolling trolling esp for bass and crappies.
